Dieppe 2012 :)

The road season is now over, but why should I stop when I can continue with something..different? Last week I participed in the track cycling nationals championships with Team Quebec.What a nice experience! It was my second experience on the track and unfortunately I did bad, but I'm ready to work hard this winter and I'll do better next competition. The team was amaizing and even if my results are not good at all, I had a really good time :) Love you all  Marie-Ève Poisson, Catherine Ouellette, Catherine Couture, Joakim Albert, Guillaume Roussel, Marc-Antoine Noel...and the guys from BC, LOL ;)

Well, my season is over and what better way to finish my season than a magnificent final sprint....on the ground! :( What a crash! 500 m before the finish line. I guess that the girls who were right behind me must be mad at me right now, lol. But lets forget the crash and lets talk about the landscape. The road for the TT was totaly amaizing! No hole, no crack...I was almost bewildered! The organisation did an amaizing last minute job (the event was suppose to be at Bromont). I will never forget the amaizing landscapes of Riviere-Du-Loup.

A silver medal for my birthday

Today was the team time trial for the "championnats quebecois". I was with team Espoir Quilicot and we won the second place. I was nervous because we never practiced the time trial together, but we did great :) Honestly, we suffered alot but like Clara Hughes said "most I'm suffering while I'm racing, most I'm satisfy when I'm done" and I think that a silver medal is a nice birthday gift...specially when you suffered like I did! Congratulation and thank you to Amelie Bruno and Élise Brouillette for this beautifull experience! Your team is amazing :)

Camilien-Houde, I love you :)

There's just one place in the world I like to go for training: Mont-Royal. When I was young, I was always watching canadian cyclist on TV with my father, but when I heard that Clara, Lyne and Genevieve would come to Montreal for the world championship, I turned off my TV, took my coat and ran to the bus stop faster has I could with my father. I could not believe that I would see those women climbing camilien-houde avenue...in direct! I remember that Genevieve won... but I prefered Lyne than Genevieve. She was more sympatic and...prettier :) 

Now, all those stories between Lyne and Genevieve are over, but every time I go to Camilien-Houde, I can remember all those beautiful memories I have of those fabulous women I saw for the first time when I was 8 years old...and hoping that maybe one day, I will be one of them :)
